Permanent Internal Technical Salesperson – Pumps

The solutions they provide help their partners and customers move water to where it is supposed to go – providing drinking water for the smallest villages and the highest skyscrapers, treating and removing wastewater and bringing heat and comfort to the world – or cool it down if needed.
There is a requirement at the UK Head Office in Leighton Buzzard for a Technical Internal Sales Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Operations the responsibilities of the role include formalising quotations, processing pump sales orders and giving technical advice, selection and support to internal and external customers and stakeholders. It is imperative that you have prior work experience in the pump industry and that you are able to size and select the best type of pump to fit the application. Ideally, you will be a pump guru and possess the desire to be known as a product champion in the handling of municipal wastewater and clean water. Requirements of the role include:
Understand the customers’ requirements either communicated via phone, fax, e-mail or other media.
Competent knowledge of product features advantages and benefits with the ability to be able to professionally represent these to the customer
An understanding of applications where the product will be installed to ensure best fit of product
Work with the Finance / Credit Control Team to secure on time payment.
Answer the telephone in an agreed manner and within an agreed period of time.
Working with internal and external customers, suppliers and procuring product where necessary.
Follow and adhere to the business processes
Conduct yourself in a professional manner with our customers at all times
Liaise with customers on delivery and supply chain
Handle customer issues if and when these arise
Use the sales excellence principles for effective opportunity & quotation management within SAP CRM.
