Permanent Electrical Project Engineer – Water / Wastewater
Established in 1985 our client has grown over the years by diversification into various market sectors and recognising potential growth areas. They operate from offices in South Norfolk, employing staff from design engineers to qualified and experienced trades people operating across the UK. They are a multi-disciplined operation, embracing Electrical, Mechanical and Fabrication engineering activities employed predominantly within the water utilities sector. With a wealth of experience, our technical abilities cover design and installation on both Waste Water and Potable Water Treatment Works.
There is a need for an Electrical Project Engineer to be based at the Norwich office and report to the General Manager. You will be required to provide a range of Electrical Engineering services on Anglian Water clean / sewage treatment and pumping station sites. You will work closely with the Electrical Supervisor and be responsible for managing packages of works, providing technical advice, technical troubleshooting, supervising staff on site and ensuring that their packages are completed on time and within budget.
To be considered you will ideally have extensive experience on site as well as the following qualifications, experience and accreditations.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City & Guilds 17th edition;
• City & Guilds Inspection and test
• EUSR Blue Water Hygiene Card
• CSCS/IOSH working safely
• City & Guilds Confined space trained
• Good problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Professional, presentable and personable
