  • Are currently looking to recruit Snr Mechanical and Snr Electrical Building Services Engineers to join an international consultancy in Mumbai.



    Projects include World One - Mumbai, Worli Towers - Mumbai and Enquinox - Bangalore.



     



    Description:



    Working in our Mumbai office you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of iconic buildings, in partnership with some of the world’s leading Architects. Predominantly supporting the design of Indian and Middle Eastern projects in the areas of high rise residential and commercial buildings, sports stadia and leisure developments. This role will be based in our newly refurbished offices in the Powai district of Mumbai. You will collaborate with other major disciplines locally, acting as a key client facing ambassador whilst also working with colleagues globally to deliver the highest standards of service to our local clients.



     



    Key Responsibilities:



    Act as Job Leader and (in some circumstances) Project Leader.



    Operate and competently work on an independent basis.



    Manage single or multi-disciplinary projects.



    Communicate directly with Clients.



    Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work.



    Plan and monitor job resourcing/expenditure and adjust as necessary.



    Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.



    Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design.



    Prepare Technical Specifications.



    Check/verify other team members work.



    Monitor financial performance of jobs.



    Be alive to new project opportunities.



    Set up and manage job/project administrative systems.



    Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.



    Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s best interests and that BH policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.



    Commitment to CPD and self learning / development.



     



    Job Requirements



     



    Qualifications:



    Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer.



    Or



    In special circumstances, several years relevant working experience with either a Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng) and working towards chartership.



     



    Job Purpose:



    Working on various projects within a multi-disciplinary Integrated Building Group, reporting to the head of Building Services.



     



    Person Specification:



    This is a multidisciplinary practice that succeeds through the individual and collaborative skills of its people. This post requires a candidate who must have:



    High-rise project experience essential.



    Ideally experience of sustainability led developments.



    Corporate membership of a relevant institution.



    Good IT skills.



    Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients. • Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situations.



    Ability to run projects successfully.
